In 2022, Carinya Society implemented Sentrient HCM as its Core HR application. The rollout centralized employee records, onboarding, and training management for the Melbourne based provider of adult training and support services, which operates more than 70 day programs and offers respite care and specialist disability accommodation services.
Sentrient HCM was configured to provide a single employee master record, workflow based onboarding, and training management capabilities to handle required documentation and recurring compliance tasks. The implementation emphasized HRIS data governance and streamlined record keeping across employee profiles, qualifications, and mandatory training.
Prior to deployment, employee information was distributed across payroll systems, a client CRM, and shared drives, creating errors and inefficiencies in People and Culture processes. The Sentrient HCM deployment centralized HR data for the People and Culture team and aligned onboarding and training workflows with operational staff across the organisation's programs.
People and Culture Manager Eranna Weisenberger reported that the absence of a consistent single source of truth had led to errors and confusion, and the Sentrient HCM implementation reduced manual processes and improved data management. Ongoing governance focused on maintaining the centralized employee record and standardising onboarding and training procedures across the organisation.
