Trimble Legacy Trimble e-Builder Project Portfolio Management PPM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Carolina Multifamily Construction implemented Trimble e-Builder for Project Portfolio Management. Trimble e-Builder was used to process all invoices and Subcontractor Draw Requests, and to manage all Contracts, Purchase Orders and Change Orders for projects, while also recording routine office procurement and general office duties within the system. The deployment centered on project financial controls and contract administration capabilities of Trimble e-Builder, including invoice processing, draw request workflows, contract management, purchase order issuance, and change order lifecycle tracking. Document management and project-level cost visibility were applied to project teams, procurement and project accounting functions, with administrative users managing office supply orders and ancillary office tasks through the same application. Governance relied on system-driven workflows to standardize approvals and enforce role based access across project and back office roles, embedding consistent processing for subcontractor draws, contract approvals and PO fulfillment. Trimble e-Builder served as the central Project Portfolio Management application for Carolina Multifamily Construction, consolidating project financial and procurement workflows into a single operational platform.
