In 2018 Castlight Health implemented LeanData Matching as part of its Account Based Marketing stack to automate lead qualification and account association. The deployment focused on automating lead-to-account resolution and embedding business-rule checks in the lead intake flow for demand generation and sales lead management.
LeanData Matching was configured to automatically evaluate inbound leads and match them to existing accounts, then apply Castlight specific qualification criteria before handoff. After the Castlight criteria were applied, the implementation invoked LeanData Routing to route matched and qualified leads to the correct sales representatives, creating a sequential matching, qualification, and routing workflow.
Operational scope covered lead management and sales assignment processes, with business rules and qualification gates implemented as part of the matching layer. Governance centered on applying Castlight criteria as a pre-routing control, and the combined LeanData Matching and LeanData Routing configuration ensured matched leads progressed through a rules-based assignment process to sales representatives.
