In 2021 Catell implemented the E37 Platform on their website to provide web sales and catalog visibility. Catell is a Sweden based distributor with about 10 employees and uses the E37 Platform as its primary eCommerce application powering public product pages and customer checkout. The implementation emphasizes online sales and order capture through the public storefront.
The E37 Platform configuration centers on storefront rendering, product catalog management, shopping cart and checkout workflows, content management for product and category pages, and order capture for fulfillment. Configuration was aligned to small distributor needs with SKU level cataloging and pricing rules, and platform features were used to manage product metadata, images, and customer facing content. The deployment leverages standard eCommerce functional modules to support product discovery, pricing, and order processing.
Operationally the deployment is web facing and managed through the E37 Platform administration console, serving sales and operations functions within Catell. Governance was structured around a small set of admin users responsible for catalog updates, pricing, and order processing, with workflows to hand off orders to fulfillment. The deployment scope is limited to Catell's Sweden based site and centralizes eCommerce responsibility on the E37 Platform.
