In 2015, CCBI Metdist implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial solution. CCBI Metdist Global Commodities UK Limited is a subsidiary of CCB International Securities Limited, ultimately owned by China Construction Bank, and engaged FinanSys as the SunSystems provider for the deployment.
The Infor SunSystems implementation focused on core finance and accounting capabilities consistent with ERP Financial systems, including a centralized general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, multicurrency handling and statutory reporting configuration. Infor SunSystems was configured to establish a standard chart of accounts, role based access controls and financial reporting structures to support month end close and regulatory submissions for the UK entity.
Operational coverage for the deployment centered on the finance and accounting function at the UK subsidiary, with configuration to support consolidated reporting requirements to the group. The implementation included interfaces typical for ERP Financial environments such as bank payment and collections interfaces and output formats for statutory reports and ledger extracts, while preserving the transactional integrity of the subsidiarys financial flows.
FinanSys delivered implementation services covering system configuration, user role definition, workflow approvals and handover to in house finance staff, establishing governance for financial processes and ongoing support arrangements. The engagement positioned Infor SunSystems as the core ERP Financial system for CCBI Metdists accounting and treasury workflows.
