In 2010, Cellular Sales implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial application, establishing a centralized financial management platform at the corporate office. The implementation positioned Microsoft Dynamics GP as the core accounting and payment processing system for the organization, supporting finance and accounts payable workflows.
The deployment was hosted and managed from the corporate office data center, where all servers and applications were supported. Infrastructure and application support covered Microsoft Dynamics GP, SharePoint, PSI:Capture, Nintex Workflow, Crystal Reports, and internal point of sale and reporting systems, creating a consolidated stack for transaction capture, workflow orchestration, and financial reporting.
A SharePoint based document management system was implemented and managed to automate invoice processing, integrating document capture and workflow automation. PSI:Capture and Nintex Workflow were used to digitize and route invoices into bookkeeping processes, while Microsoft Dynamics GP handled the accounting entries and payment processing, including batching of ACH payments in the accounting system. The document management and capture pipeline processed up to 50,000 invoices per month.
Operational ownership and governance were centralized, with IT managing servers and applications at the corporate data center and finance owning invoice and payment workflows. The configuration linked document capture, workflow automation, reporting, and Microsoft Dynamics GP financial ledgers, providing an integrated operational footprint for accounts payable, reporting, and point of sale reconciliation.

Configuration work emphasized automated candidate to new hire transitions, structured onboarding task flows, recruiter and hiring manager role based access, and internal data exchanges to support payroll and benefits enrollment workflows.
Operationally, the PlanSource ATS implementation supported Cellular Sales' HR, talent acquisition, payroll and benefits administration teams to create an end to end hire to enroll process. Integrations were implemented within the PlanSource HCM Suite to maintain consistent employee master data, benefits eligibility flows and ACA and COBRA reporting pipelines without introducing external vendor connectors.
Governance focused on standardized recruiting workflows, centralized applicant record retention and process controls for onboarding and benefits enrollment, with governance policies mapped to PlanSource ATS configuration. The deployment emphasized workflow orchestration across recruiting and HR operations, aligning offer acceptance, payroll provisioning and benefits fulfillment through the PlanSource platform.

In 2013, Cellular Sales implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) to centralize reporting and enterprise analytics, work that falls within the Analytics and BI category. The initiative was led by two internal teams, Business Process and Business Intelligence, charged with redesigning information flows and delivering a company wide BI solution.
Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) was configured with SSRS as the centralized reporting platform, SSIS handling ETL pipelines, and SSAS providing analytical models and a semantic layer. Consolidation of existing reporting into an SSRS platform and the establishment of an enterprise data dictionary for standard definitions were named priorities. The Business Intelligence team mapped critical metrics into shared datasets and semantic models to support consistent, governed reporting.
The program engaged Sales, Inventory, Finance and Accounting stakeholders to align report content and data sources, integrating operational feeds into SQL Server based ETL processes. Operational coverage targeted company wide reporting requirements across corporate functions and store operations, with the BI solution intended to surface critical pieces of information company wide.
The Business Process team performed research on current business flows across Sales, Inventory, Finance and Accounting and translated findings into system and process redesign recommendations to bring efficiencies and cost savings to the organization. Governance emphasis centered on the data dictionary and enterprise definitions to standardize metrics and control report proliferation during rollout, while ETL and semantic governance patterns were put in place to sustain reporting and analytical production.
