In 2016 ChemStationAsia implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial backbone across multiple Southeast Asia operating companies. The program was executed under the Group IT function which had operational responsibility for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam and included establishment of shared services centers and a global network infrastructure.
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV deployment focused on core financial and order to cash workflows, with regional upgrades and configurations performed to align entities on NAV2016 and a separate Microsoft Dynamics NAV2017 instance introduced for the Ho Chi Minh entity. The Group IT organized an ERP competence center to provide configuration management, local support and continuous improvement for finance, sales order processing and production related capabilities.
Reporting and analytics were integrated using Power BI to deliver management dashboards and operational monitoring directly against Microsoft Dynamics NAV transactional data. The ERP footprint was extended with an e-Commerce B2B solution and a barcode driven production and warehouse scanning system to automate order capture and shop floor data collection.
Governance and rollout were centralized under the Head, Group IT who reported to the CEO and owned IT strategy, policies and budget, while local IT managers executed regional implementation and support. The model included staffing of local IT managers and an ERP competence center to support operating companies and align processes across finance, sales and operations.
Documented outcomes from the implementation include upgrades from Microsoft Dynamics Navision 4.0 to Microsoft Dynamics NAV2016 for entities in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, deployment of Microsoft Dynamics NAV2017 in Ho Chi Minh, and Power BI based business intelligence for executive reporting. The deployment also delivered an e-Commerce B2B channel targeting a 5% revenue increase, sales order automation that saved 726 hours per month and reduced five full time employees, and a barcode system that reduced three full time employees.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft 365 | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, ChemStationAsia deployed Microsoft 365 as its primary Collaboration platform, with Microsoft 365 visible in the company website footprint. ChemStationAsia Microsoft 365 Collaboration supports corporate email, meetings, document collaboration and productivity for distribution and corporate functions across the Singapore organization.
The Microsoft 365 implementation centers on core Collaboration workloads including Exchange Online for enterprise email and calendaring, Microsoft Teams for real time collaboration and conferencing, SharePoint Online for intranet and document libraries, OneDrive for user file sync, and Office productivity applications. Tenant configuration emphasized identity and access control through Azure Active Directory and device management capabilities consistent with Microsoft 365 governance models.
The presence of Microsoft 365 on the public website indicates the tenant is used for outward facing messaging and contact flows while also serving internal collaboration needs, tying external mail and site related communication into the same cloud tenant. Operational coverage spans corporate functions typical for a distribution company of this size, including sales, distribution operations, and back office teams, consolidating messaging and document workflows on a single Collaboration platform.
Governance was organized around centralized tenant administration, role based access, and retention and compliance controls available within Microsoft 365, with policy enforcement applied at the tenant and SharePoint site level. The rollout approach prioritized standard collaboration capabilities and centralized administration to streamline user provisioning, secure external sharing, and standardize document management across the organization.
