In 2007, Cheyenne Housing Authority implemented MRI Affordable Housing. The deployment brought MRI Affordable Housing into the agency as a Real Estate Property Management application to centralize tenant and property administration for the organization in the United States.
The implementation configured core functional modules typical of affordable housing operations, including tenant and lease management, rent roll and accounts receivable, compliance and reporting for housing programs, and work order maintenance. MRI Affordable Housing was configured to manage waitlist processes and unit assignment workflows while maintaining program eligibility documentation and tenancy records.
The project migrated client accounts and tenant data from the Lindsey System into the MRI Affordable Housing database, preserving account histories and tenancy information during cutover. Operational coverage encompassed property management, finance, maintenance, and tenant services within the Cheyenne Housing Authority agency.
Governance work included staff training for property and finance teams, redesign of tenant account reconciliation and rent collection workflows, and establishment of data governance and reporting schedules to support consistent compliance activities. Ongoing application administration was assigned to internal staff with configuration controls and formalized reporting to support housing program administration.
