In 2020, Church of the City implemented Resi in the Audio Video and Web Conferencing category to modernize multisite broadcast-style livestreaming and improve the online viewer experience across its campuses. The initiative targeted the AV / digital engagement process area for the Nashville nonprofit, aligning production and digital channels to a single streaming platform.
The deployment centralized cloud-based stream distribution and supported encoder ingest at campus production sites, enabling synchronized multisite playback and consistent broadcast-style production values. Functional capabilities configured included live switching and encoding orchestration, embeddable playback for the church website, and viewer engagement tracking and analytics provided by Resi.
Operational ownership resided with the Church of the City AV and digital engagement teams, who rethought production workflows in 2020 and standardized live event orchestration across campuses. The Resi implementation drove elevated production values and improved online engagement metrics as described in the vendor customer story.
