In 2016 CIBC Wood Gundy implemented Sungard Loanet to centralize loan settlement and servicing workflows. In 2018, CIBC Wood Gundy implemented CGI Wealth360 Fund Accounting (formerly mPower), a Portfolio and Investment Management application provided by CGI Group, to consolidate fund accounting operations. Operational coverage extended to Global Wealth and Capital Markets operations, finance, and investor services teams, with the vendor managing product development teams on BAU and upgrade projects. The program integrated the application into existing operational feeds and enterprise data flows, relying on standard back office and market data interfaces rather than point solutions.
Governance and delivery were managed through CGI product development and project management resources, who ran BAU support tracks alongside product upgrade projects for clients including CIBC Wood Gundy.
