In 2011 Citco India implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial deployment, starting an R12 implementation that ran from April 2011 to May 2012. The Citco Group of Companies is a global financial services provider and the implementation targeted finance and accounting operations across Citco India.
The R12 implementation delivered Oracle E-Business Suite modules GL, AP, AR, FA and CM, configured to support general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting and cash management processes. Configuration work included chart of accounts design, subledger to GL interfaces and transaction posting setups consistent with ERP Financial functional workflows.
Subsequent program activity included an upgrade and infrastructure hardening engagement led by a principal consultant from KBACE Technologies between July 2013 and January 2017, which upgraded EBS from 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 and the database to Oracle 11gR2. The upgrade scope included standby database build and tested failover and failback scenarios, installation of Oracle Endeca integrated with EBS for the Projects module, and implementation of a DMZ for iRecruitment.
Operational coverage focused on finance and accounting functions within Citco India and the rollout followed a staged production cutover across departments during the April 2011 to May 2012 window. Governance combined application configuration controls, database high availability testing and project level coordination for subsequent upgrades and analytics integration.
