In 2011, Citco India implemented Oracle Absence Management as part of an Oracle applications Release 12 HRMS deployment. The Citco HRMS Implementation (US) project bundled Oracle Core HR, Oracle Absence Management, and Oracle Talent Management to centralize absence and leave policies and employee master data for Citco's US HR operations.
Oracle Absence Management was configured to manage absence plans, entitlement rules, and approval routing, integrating entitlement calculations and leave booking with Core HR person and employment data. Functional workstreams included absence eligibility, accrual processing, absence booking workflows, and manager self-service configuration, reflecting standard Absence and Leave Management capabilities.
Technical architecture was based on Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, with Oracle Absence Management consuming HRMS records from Oracle Core HR. The project record lists an Oracle HRMS Technical Lead from KBACE India Pvt Ltd in Bangalore providing Oracle Apps technical consulting and implementation support, indicating offshore technical ownership for configuration, extensions, and technical controls.
Governance and rollout emphasized configuration governance, change control, and approval workflow alignment between HR and talent functions, with deployment coordinated for the US HR operational scope. Oracle Absence Management, Core HR, and Talent Management were configured to enforce consistent leave policy processing and manager approval workflows across the implemented domain.
