In 2016 City of Provo began an 18-month implementation of Cayenta ERP as part of a Citywide Municipal Software System initiative branded Provo 360, delivered in a joint effort with CityView. Cayenta ERP is being deployed to fulfill the municipality’s ERP Financial requirements, serving core municipal financial management functions typical of the category, including general ledger consolidation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashiering interfaces and financial reporting workflows. The Cayenta ERP configuration work is positioned to support transaction processing and financial control across municipal business functions consistent with an ERP Financial implementation.
Technical and operational integration is scoped to link Cayenta ERP with CityView modules that include Property Information, Permits & Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement, Business & Animal Licensing, Rental Housing, Cemetery Management, Parking Permits, Cashiering, Electronic Plans, and CityView Portal and Mobile solutions. The implementation is described as citywide in scope, intended to connect back-office financial processes to front-office community development and citizen service channels so departments can operate from a unified record set.
Governance and rollout planning emphasize citywide coordination across Community Development, cashiering and administrative functions, using the 18-month timetable to stage deployment and data consolidation. Operational coverage focused on municipal community development departments in Provo, Utah, consolidating permitting, planning, code enforcement, and licensing data flows.
Governance for Provo 360 combined city IT, community development leadership, and Cayenta as the ERP partner to coordinate a phased rollout over 18 months.
