In 2012, Civeo Australia implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment centralized financial management for retail and bar operations across Civeo sites in Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia and supported transaction processing for 27 retail and bar outlets nationwide. Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was configured to deliver standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting, with configuration to capture transaction-level retail sales, inventory receipts and procurement flows. Operational coverage extended across retail, beverage, catering, reservations and village operations, with managers and a dedicated Manager, Retail and JDE Operations role responsible for promoting best practice use of the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system across sites. The Operations Support Systems Administrator role handled systems administration tasks, training, and project management for operational rollouts and iterative configuration changes. Governance focused on embedding configuration ownership within the operations management structure, formalizing training and support processes and coordinating project activities through the business support operations function. Roles documented in the implementation included operations support systems administration, business support operations management and retail and JDE operations management, which together sustained ongoing system adoption and operational alignment with financial ledgers.
