Alpaka Legacy Alpaka Leave and Absence Management Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, Clarendon Care Group United Kingdom implemented Alpaka Leave and Absence Management, a Leave and Absence Management application, to consolidate HR rostering, time and attendance, and absence management across its UK homes. The deployment focused on operational workforce scheduling and absence tracking for frontline care teams. The implementation configured Alpaka Leave and Absence Management to manage rostering, time and attendance, and absence modules, and included reporting and benchmarking capabilities for staffing and sickness. Standard functional workflows were established for shift creation, clock in and out records, and absence recording to align with care home rostering practices. Clarendon Care Group piloted the system in a single home before executing a rapid rollout to all homes within four weeks, and the organisation reached full operational use within six months. Operational coverage included HR and care operations across all UK care homes, centralizing scheduling data and enabling consistent staffing visibility. Governance changes formalized roster approval and absence reporting processes to improve consistency, and reporting was instrumented to support benchmarking across homes. The implementation explicitly reduced unauthorised absences and improved consistency of staffing while providing improved benchmarking and reporting for staffing and sickness.
