In 2018, Clearanswer implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP for ERP Financial functions. The implementation centralized financial and sales order workflows across Clearanswer Call Centres Ltd and associated sales and finance teams.
It configured core modules including sales order management, accounts receivable and invoicing, procurement and purchase order handling, and customer account management, aligning ERP Financial ledgers with order to cash and procure to pay flows. The system supported VAT invoicing and invoice enquiry resolution for multi period requests.
Operational usage included daily use by telesales agents between July 2020 and June 2021, where staff used Oracle NetSuite ERP alongside Mediatell and Excel to manage over 500 customer accounts concurrently, answer inbound calls, process orders and track sales orders to scheduled deliveries. Governance included structured onboarding and continuous training for new employees over an 11 month period, with agents managing purchase order issuance, tracking supplier shipments to warehouses and stores, following up quotations to convert sales, and meeting sales targets and service level agreements.
The deployment handled high value sales workflows, including daily processing of sales over £45,000, and supported customer service workflows for resolving invoice enquiries and complaints. Integrations were operationally evident with Mediatell and Excel based workflows, linking telephony and reporting activities into the Oracle NetSuite ERP financial processes.
