In 2024, Clearsight Center implemented Dextara CPQ, a Configure Price Quote (CPQ) application, with Dextara Digital acting as the implementation partner. The Dextara CPQ deployment was positioned to extend Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities while aligning with existing Salesforce Health Cloud and Sales Cloud deployments that centralized patient management, scheduling and lead-to-patient workflows.
Implementation work concentrated on Configure Price Quote (CPQ) functional modules common to the category, including configurable service catalogs, pricing rule engines, quote generation templates and approval workflow configuration. Dextara CPQ was configured to reflect Clearsight Center's clinic pricing models and bundled ophthalmic service offerings, keeping configuration complexity proportionate to the organization's scale.
The Dextara CPQ instance was integrated with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud to synchronize account, opportunity and patient lead records, enabling quotes to follow the established lead-to-patient operational flow. Operational coverage targeted sales and clinic administrative functions, linking quoting and pricing processes into scheduling and patient intake records to preserve end-to-end workflow continuity.
Governance focused on role based access controls, approval routing for clinical and commercial roles and a change control approach that prioritized configuration of pricing rules over code level changes. The Salesforce Health Cloud and Sales Cloud deployments are recorded to have improved reporting and operational agility, and Dextara CPQ was implemented to automate pricing and quote orchestration within that CRM environment.
