Clientèle Technographics, Software Purchases, AI and Digital Transformation Initiatives
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by Clientèle and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 2000 Clientèle employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that Clientèle has purchased the following applications: Hotjar for Customer Experience in 2015, IBM Cloud (formerly IBM Bluemix and IBM SoftLayer) for Application Hosting and Computing Services in 2014, Infinidat InfiniGuard for Data Loss Prevention in 2021 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems Clientèle is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with Contentsquare , IBM , Microsoft or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing Clientèle revenues, which have grown to $350.0 million in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for Clientèle intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2015 Clientèle implemented Hotjar on its public website to instrument digital customer behavior and channel analytics. Clientèle is a South African insurance company with approximately 2000 employees and the deployment was centered on its consumer web properties to support Customer Experience measurement and optimization.
Hotjar was implemented as a client side analytics and feedback layer, configured to capture session recordings, heatmaps, on page feedback widgets, and simple conversion funnel observations consistent with Customer Experience tooling. The Hotjar implementation was scoped to web page instrumentation, event capture, and visual analytics modules to surface usability issues and friction points for customer service and digital marketing workflows.
Architecturally the deployment used Hotjar’s browser script embedded in site templates, sending behavioral telemetry to Hotjar’s cloud analytics platform for visualization and analysis. Operational ownership included digital channels and customer experience teams, with role based access to Hotjar outputs and a focus on integrating behavioral insight into campaign optimization and support triage processes.
Configuration and governance attention was given to data privacy and consent controls due to web tracking, ensuring data capture aligned with applicable regulations and internal privacy policies. The implementation emphasized continuous monitoring of on page behavior to inform UX and service process adjustments while keeping tooling scoped to website interactions rather than backend transaction systems.

In 2014, Clientèle deployed IBM Cloud (formerly IBM Bluemix and IBM SoftLayer) to host its public website and associated web applications. The implementation uses IBM Cloud (formerly IBM Bluemix and IBM SoftLayer) as the primary platform for web hosting and compute resources, aligning with Application Hosting and Computing Services and supporting customer-facing digital channels.
The deployment centers on platform and infrastructure services typical of Application Hosting and Computing Services, including provisioned compute capacity, application runtimes, storage and networking to serve the public web estate. Operational scope focuses on the company website and web-based customer interactions, with the platform serving web front ends and backend application processes that support online policy and customer engagement functions. Governance and operational control are oriented around centralized cloud hosting and platform management to maintain the public site and related web applications on IBM Cloud.

In 2021, Clientèle implemented Infinidat InfiniGuard to provide Data Loss Prevention for its finance and insurance operations in South Africa. The InfiniGuard deployment complemented an Infinidat InfiniBox storage layer that was configured for synchronous replication between production and a geographically separate disaster recovery site, establishing continuous protection across primary and DR storage arrays.
Configuration emphasized synchronous replication, snapshot based protection, and immutable backup repositories to preserve recovery point integrity and support integrity verification workflows. Policy based retention and automated cataloging of backups were applied to maintain backup chain consistency and to facilitate regular database consistency checks.
The implementation covered Clientèle’s finance and core insurance processing environments across South Africa and was aligned with transactional storage and database tiers to protect critical operational systems. Clientèle implemented Infinidat InfiniGuard for Data Loss Prevention of its finance and insurance operations, creating an explicit link between the company, the application, the Data Loss Prevention category, and the business function.
Deployment required updating backup and DR workflows to validate synchronous replication and restore procedures through scheduled verification cycles. Clientèle reported zero downtime and approximately a 40% improvement in database consistency checks following the InfiniBox synchronous replication architecture, outcomes that support the inferred use of Infinidat InfiniGuard for data protection and recovery.
