Rand Group migrated five years of historical data from Sage 100 into Sage Intacct using customized data import templates to preserve data integrity and ensure uninterrupted operations. Sage Intacct was configured to support accounts payable processing, automated bank reconciliation, recurring journal entries for month end close, dimensional reporting and dashboarding, electronic invoice attachments, and configurable recurring transactions to reduce manual entry.
Integrations were implemented to accelerate payments and reduce manual reconciliations, including a custom export utility to Deluxe Payment Exchange DPX, and integrations with Club Automation and ADP that minimized manual journal entries during month end. The deployment was delivered as a cloud based, multi user financial system with bank feed functionality to enable continuous reconciliation and real time transaction import.
Rand Group provided implementation services including custom configuration, workflow redesign, hands on training and ongoing support, and rebuilt finance workflows to automate key processes. The project explicitly replaced Sage 100, and governance changes introduced standardized recurring transactions, role based access controls for finance staff, and customizable reporting templates to enable department level profit and loss analysis.
Post implementation outcomes reported by Club Greenwood include a 50 percent reduction in time spent on bank reconciliation, a 30 percent reduction in accounts payable processing time, and a 20 to 30 percent acceleration of the monthly close through automation. Sage Intacct enabled enhanced departmental visibility using dimensions, automation of nearly the entire close process, and allowed the lean finance team to manage a growing workload without additional headcount.
