Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, after Hurricane Sandy knocked out its onsite data center for several days, Coach USA moved its Oracle E-Business Suite infrastructure to the Syntax Enterprise Cloud. The move targeted continuity and stronger Disaster Recovery capabilities for Oracle E-Business Suite, an ERP Financial platform supporting corporate finance operations across the organization. Coach USA had previously engaged Syntax Consulting Solutions to remediate issues during a complex upgrade from Oracle EBS 10.7 to Oracle R12, and that relationship informed the migration strategy. The implementation centralized core ERP Financial capabilities on Oracle E-Business Suite, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial close workflows, while aligning the application stack to a cloud hosting model. As part of the program Syntax provided remote Oracle Application Managed Services support and SLA-backed hosting for Oracle E-Business Suite. The engagement included a targeted migration of Coach USA’s Canadian subsidiary from JD Edwards to Oracle E-Business Suite, placing both the corporate and subsidiary environments under Syntax Enterprise Cloud management and monitoring to achieve continuous uptime and recoverability. Governance shifted toward cloud-based application management with Syntax delivering AMS for ongoing patching, monitoring and incident response, and hosting agreements that codified availability and performance through SLA-backed metrics. The documented outcomes included the successful migration of the Canadian subsidiary to Oracle E-Business Suite, continuous remote AMS support, and stable, reliable Oracle E-Business Suite hosting with defined SLA-backed availability and performance guarantees.
