| Plex Systems | Legacy | Plex ERP | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Colony Brands ran beta testing of Plex ERP as part of a Manufacturing ERP initiative. The engagement took place during June to December 2016 and concentrated on production operations at the Monroe, Wisconsin site, where an operations intern became a recognized super-user of Plex ERP.
Plex ERP work focused on shop-floor workflows and production-level data capture consistent with Manufacturing ERP capabilities, with emphasis on validating production work orders, yield reporting, and procedural task sequences. Plex ERP configurations were exercised through daily output capture and Excel-based yield reports, the intern compiling daily outputs and performing VLOOKUPs and template-based data analysis to validate transaction flows and outputs.
Governance and rollout relied on a super-user model, the intern helping create a formal training program and step-by-step reference documents to guide production employees in using Plex ERP. Training materials and Excel templates were used to standardize task completion and yield reporting, embedding operational procedures into production team routines and enabling repeatable shop-floor execution within Plex ERP.
