In 2021, Columbia Insurance implemented Insurity Decisions as part of Insurity’s Policy Decisions Evolution deployment across all lines of business in the United States. The deployment placed Insurity Decisions within the Insurance ERP layer to modernize policy administration and to streamline agent-facing screens.
Configuration focused on policy administration and decisioning capabilities consistent with Insurity’s Policy Decisions Evolution announcement, including policy lifecycle management, configurable decision rules and enhanced agent servicing interfaces. Insurity Decisions was configured to support collaborative cloud-based configuration and staged product model management to reduce time to configure new products.
Integrations explicitly included third-party data sources to enrich underwriting and servicing data flows, and connectivity was implemented across all product lines in the United States. Operational coverage centered on underwriting, policy administration and agency-facing operations, aligning the Insurance ERP deployment with front-office insurance functions.
Governance and rollout followed a collaborative cloud implementation model, with Insurity cited for an on-time deployment and faster time-to-value. The program emphasized iterative configuration and agent-screen optimization as part of the rollout and operational handover.
