In 2023 Compositex implemented ProjectSoft ERP as its Manufacturing ERP solution. The company operates in the rubber and plastic sector in Italy with 95 employees and focuses on processing composite materials and producing structural complex parts through in‑house equipment and machinery construction, and ProjectSoft ERP was deployed to address material provisioning and production coordination needs.
The implementation emphasized procurement and materials management, with configuration of purchase order workflows to support the Buyer Purchase Planner role active from 15/05/2023 to 31/12/2024. ProjectSoft ERP was configured to support core manufacturing modules typical of a Manufacturing ERP environment, including purchasing and supplier management, inventory and warehouse management, production planning and basic MRP driven scheduling, and shop floor control to align material availability with production phases.
Operational coverage was centered on procurement, warehouse and production departments, with ProjectSoft ERP serving as the central system of record for material requirements and inventory transactions. The deployment was scoped for a single corporate instance to unify purchasing and warehouse operations across the company, enabling the purchase planner role to provide materials for sequential manufacturing work phases and to track stock movements during production runs.
Governance and process change were governed by management oversight from ProjectSoft and an internal emphasis on Lean methods, specifically reorganizing warehouse layout and production flows to reduce waste and improve material flow.
