In 2006, Comvita implemented QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) as its Manufacturing ERP solution. The New Zealand retail company with approximately 600 employees centralized manufacturing and distribution systems using QAD Adaptive ERP to support core operational processes.
Comvita deployed a suite that included QAD Enterprise Applications, QAD Business Intelligence, QAD .NET UI, and Eagle RF Express. QAD Enterprise Applications delivered the central transactional engine for manufacturing execution, inventory control, order management, procurement, and finance workflows typical of Manufacturing ERP implementations.

Eagle RF Express provided RF enabled warehouse mobility integrated with the QAD transaction engine to capture goods movements and synchronize inventory in near real time, while QAD .NET UI modernized the user interface and supported role based access and task flows.
Governance centered on centralized master data and standardized order to cash and procure to pay processes, with workflow controls and role enforcement implemented through the QAD .NET UI. The combined application footprint structured operational reporting and inventory reconciliation across manufacturing operations, warehouse and distribution, procurement, and finance functions.
