Kantata Legacy Kantata Mavenlink PSA Professional Services Automation ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Concurrency implemented Kantata Mavenlink PSA, adopting a cloud-based single-platform Professional Services Automation solution and retiring Autotask. The deployment centralized project management, resource planning, and time capture across the organization to provide a single system of record for client services and delivery operations. The implementation leveraged Kantata Mavenlink PSA functional capabilities including time sheet capture and approval, enterprise reporting via Insights, native business intelligence for rolling forecasts, resource forecasting and capacity planning, and project task and role definitions. Concurrency used Kantata Mavenlink PSA to eliminate spreadsheet-based burn down and bookkeeping workflows, and to consolidate forecasting and resource planning into a repeatable, auditable process. Concurrency integrated Kantata Mavenlink PSA with its financial system NetSuite, using Kantata native and API-driven integrations to synchronize time, project financials, and billing data. The move also decommissioned a third-party Power BI forecasting pipeline in favor of Kantata native reporting, enabling up-to-the-minute operational data to flow from delivery teams to finance and leadership. Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, including targeted training sessions for project managers, the adoption of standardized role and task definitions inside Kantata Mavenlink PSA, and regular project reviews to bridge sales and delivery. These changes supported a shift from a complex, multi-branch operating model to a centralized headquarters model for policy and oversight, improving consistency and repeatability of delivery processes. Results stated by Concurrency include saving 20 hours monthly by eliminating manual spreadsheets, extending the forecasting horizon to a 13 month rolling forecast, improved data accuracy and availability, and better-informed long-range hiring decisions. Kantata Mavenlink PSA provided Concurrency with a unified view of upcoming projects and resource needs, enabling more confident planning and accountability across delivery and finance functions.
