| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | DMS Software Technologies | 2012 | 2012 | In 2012, Continental Insurance Lanka Limited implemented Oracle E-Business Suite. The implementation was completed by DMS Software Technologies, a Gold Level Member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork, and was scoped as an ERP Financial deployment to centralize core financial processes. Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to support core financial modules typical of ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, and financial reporting and reconciliation workflows. Configuration work emphasized transaction processing rules, chart of accounts alignment, and period close procedures to standardize accounting operations. DMS Software Technologies executed the rollout across Continental Insurance's finance and accounting functions, embedding Oracle E-Business Suite into day to day transaction processing and month end flows. The implementation focused on orchestrating transactional workflows and ledger reconciliation to ensure consistent financial data flow between operational bookkeeping and executive reporting. Governance changes accompanied the technical deployment, with standardized financial controls and formalized processing workflows established for accounting and treasury teams, and role based access defined to support segregation of duties. The new Oracle E-Business Suite solution is reported to increase overall efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions. |
