In 2018, CoorsTek implemented Workday HCM to deliver Core HR capabilities across its global manufacturing operations. The conversion required detailed mapping to existing PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 and PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 database structures, tables and fields for the modules being onboarded.
Program governance centered on dedicated Integration Lead and Conversion Lead roles that managed data conversion, integration patterns and cutover sequencing, enabling the conversion and implementation to be completed in nine months. Operational coverage included global HR and payroll functions across manufacturing sites, with controls focused on integration validation and cross-functional process alignment.
