In 2017, CPM UK implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial solution to consolidate finance operations across its United Kingdom professional services organization. The deployment targeted corporate finance and project-related accounting processes and was scoped to support centralized financial reporting and statutory compliance for the business.
The Infor SunSystems implementation centered on core financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting, configured to handle professional services billing and project cost recognition. Configuration work included chart of accounts rationalization, period close controls and role based access to support finance workflows and auditability within the Infor SunSystems environment.
Sapphire Systems acted as the implementation partner, and CPM reviewed electronic document management and workflow options during selection. CPM selected Transaction Services Ltd's Document Management System and TSL's DOCLINK4 integration and workflow tools, which interface directly into the Infor SunSystems finance application, providing document linking, workflow routing and data handoff so relevant data could be easily imported into the SunSystems finance application.
Governance and rollout emphasized aligning document control and approval workflows with finance processes, with Sapphire Systems coordinating the ERP Financial configuration and TSL delivering the document management integration. The implementation delivered an integrated document and workflow layer connected to Infor SunSystems, fulfilling the solution specific requirements around data importability and finance process orchestration.
