In 2025, Cram-A-Lot engaged CodeLift to rebuild its Drupal 7 Ubercart storefront and migrate the implementation to Drupal 10 Commerce, executing an eCommerce modernization for the company. The project is documented as a CodeLift case study and the engagement name references Drupal Ubercart while the target platform is Drupal 10 Commerce to reflect the rebuilt store.
The implementation preserved core storefront capabilities, retaining quote workflows and support for more than 100 configurable products, and reimplemented product configuration and order capture within the Drupal 10 Commerce framework. Configuration work focused on catalog structure, configurable product SKUs and quote workflow logic to ensure parity with existing customer facing commerce flows.
Deployment used a codebase rebuild approach on Drupal 10 with Commerce integration, delivering a zero downtime cutover and 100 percent data parity between the source Ubercart store and the new Drupal 10 Commerce site. CodeLift led the technical migration and refactor, maintaining the eCommerce operational footprint for Cram-A-Lot in the United States industrial eCommerce context.
Governance and rollout emphasized functional continuity for sales and order management teams, preserving quoting processes and product configurability during cutover. Outcomes cited in the CodeLift case study include zero downtime, complete data parity and improved maintainability for the Drupal 10 Commerce implementation.
