Stonefield Software Legacy Stonefield Query Analytics and BI Analytics and BI Stonefield Software Usa 2005 2005
In 2005, Crimestar embedded Stonefield Query into its Records Management System as the OEM reporting and data mining engine. The Stonefield Query SDK was packaged as the CrimeStar RMS Report Creator and the U.S. public safety records management implementation went live in November 2005. Implementation focused on analytics and reporting capabilities delivered by the SDK, including ad hoc querying, codified field linking, report authoring, and query runtime embedded in the RMS. Stonefield Query provided the in-application reporting surface and data mining capabilities that addressed functional limitations previously experienced with Visual FoxPro and SQL Server reporting. The deployment used an OEM integration pattern, embedding the Stonefield Query SDK directly into CrimeStar's application stack so report creation and query runtime appeared as a native module. Stonefield Software Usa served as the implementation partner for the U.S. deployment, with configuration work that included embedding query runtime, configuring report templates, and codifying field linking logic into records management workflows. As an Analytics and BI implementation, Stonefield Query centralized ad hoc analysis and codified field relationships inside Crimestar's Records Management System, enabling end users to run reports and perform data mining from within the RMS. The November 2005 go live resolved the prior Visual FoxPro and SQL Server reporting limitations and delivered robust ad hoc querying and codified field linking.
