In 2014, International Dairy Queen implemented dominKnow | ONE to support Learning and Development. The deployment is listed on the vendor site as a customer reference and addressed enterprise needs for standardized course authoring and centralized learning content management. The implementation emphasized creation of operational training and customer service curriculum for restaurant staff alongside corporate compliance and management learning. The selection targeted scalable, template driven content production to align training across corporate and field functions.
dominKnow | ONE was configured to leverage its core authoring studio, responsive publishing engine, templating library, and centralized content repository. Implemented capabilities included multi device publishing, branching scenario design, assessment item banks, and version control with formal review workflows. The deployment used a centralized course library and reuseable templates to maintain brand consistency and accelerate content creation cycles. Localization workflows were enabled to support multi language course delivery.
Learning content was packaged for learning management consumption using SCORM and xAPI standards to enable distribution to point of service learning systems and corporate LMS platforms. The solution supported mobile playback and offline content use cases common for front line restaurant employees. Content publishing was organized around scheduled updates to operational training catalogs, enabling coordinated content releases for seasonal or promotional programs.
Governance established centralized content owners within corporate Learning and Development, with distributed authors embedded in operations and marketing functions. Review gates, versioning, and audit trails inside dominKnow | ONE enforced approval workflows and reduced duplicate content copies. The implementation moved International Dairy Queen toward a centralized authoring model and restructured how learning content was produced, reviewed, and published across the enterprise.
