In 2018, Dal Ben implemented NTS Informatica Business Experience as its ERP Financial backbone to consolidate data and replace multiple Excel-based repositories. The manufacturing group, which employs over 130 people across six production facilities, drove the initiative to centralize order, procurement, production and invoicing data into a single database for easier extraction and reporting.
The deployment of NTS Informatica Business Experience delivered targeted functional modules including CONSOLE IMPORT ORDERS/ITEMS FROM CUTTING LISTS to preserve raw material procurement structure, CONSOLE OBJECTIVES for entering expected times and costs, the IPROD APP for live job progress tracking, and a CONSOLE FOR INVOICE CREATION WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF CUSTOM ITEMS PER SUPPLIER. These components were configured to reflect Dal Ben SpA operational workflows, enabling structured entry of times and costs and real time visibility into job status on the shop floor.
Operational integrations implemented as part of the rollout included XML import processes to populate warehouse documents and automate invoice-to-warehouse data transfer, enabling operators to import all necessary data and reduce manual transcription. NTS Informatica Business Experience was positioned as the single repository for order, item and warehouse documents, supporting procurement and manufacturing execution across the companys multiple production sites.
MTS Informatica acted as the implementation partner, managing the changeover, providing training to minimize operator resistance, and delivering proactive customization through its technical team to meet complex make-to-order requirements. Explicit results reported by Dal Ben include maintenance of procurement structures, streamlined invoice document creation via XML import, live production tracking with IPROD APP, and reductions in operator time and errors when creating warehouse documents.
