In 2020, D'Andrea implemented Sisthema Panthera ERP - Document Management as a Document Management solution to modernize information handling across its Lainate manufacturing site. The Sisthema Panthera ERP - Document Management deployment centered on core document management functionality, including document capture and indexing, version control with audit trails, role based access control, and configurable approval workflows to support engineering, production and procurement records. Configuration emphasized process level organization of departments and entities, enabling document centric orchestration and rationalization of tasks and responsibilities across shop floor and administrative functions. Integrations were implemented to connect Panthera with web services explicitly required by the program, namely CRM, email marketing systems, and customer and supplier portals, to unify customer and supplier document exchange and communication flows. Operational coverage focused on the Lainate facility and business functions including IT, production engineering, sales and supplier management, aligning document workflows to existing manufacturing and quality processes. Governance relied on continuity of personnel knowledge, Panthera staff retained familiarity with D'Andrea procedures which expedited configuration and user adoption in an Italian manufacturing context. D'Andrea expects significant cost savings and reports that Panthera allows organization of departments and entities at the process level, an outcome the IT manager attributes to a rationalization of tasks and responsibilities.
