Spidex Software Legacy Spidex Mainsaver CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) ERP Services and Operations Spidex Software 2007 2007
In 2007 DCT Gdansk Poland implemented Spidex Mainsaver CMMS to manage maintenance of its fleet of heavy lifting and terminal handling equipment. The deployment was supplied by Spidex Software and was positioned within the Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) category to centralize maintenance operations and spares control across the terminal in Poland. Spidex Mainsaver CMMS was configured to support core maintenance workflows, including work order management and spares inventory control, and was extended with the Mainsaver Barcode module to improve parts tracking. The Barcode module enabled mobile enabled stockroom workflows and barcode driven spares transactions, bringing barcode scanning into routine parts issuance and inventory reconciliation processes. Operational coverage focused on equipment maintenance and stockroom operations at the terminal, with the system in continuous use since the terminal opened. Governance centered on operational maintenance teams and stockroom staff, and the barcode addition explicitly delivered faster spares transactions and improved spares inventory management as part of the overall CMMS implementation.
