In 2016, DeakinCo implemented Intellum Evolve Authoring to strengthen its Learning and Development capability. The deployment targeted the firm’s learning design and content production practice within its Australia operations, aligning authoring with existing elearning and print material services.
Intellum Evolve Authoring was configured as the central authoring and content management layer, providing authoring workspaces, a centralized content repository, template management and version control. The configuration emphasized collaborative review workflows and approval gates to support iterative development of modules authored for both online and print outputs. The implementation enabled standards compliant packaging for LMS delivery and multi format publishing from a single content source.
The Intellum Evolve Authoring environment operated alongside the existing authoring toolset, which included Canvas by Instructure, Articulate Rise and Storyline 360, Appitierre Evolve and Adapt Authoring Tool, enabling authors to ingest or export content across tools. Operational coverage focused on instructional designers, content developers and production editors within DeakinCo’s professional services offering. Integrations emphasized content import and export workflows and consolidated asset management rather than replacement of the existing toolchain.
Governance was established to standardize templates, naming conventions and review roles, with central administration of content versions and release schedules. Rollout was oriented to build repeatable authoring practices across teams, including documented review steps and training for internal authors. The narrative centers on structural consolidation of authoring operations under Intellum Evolve Authoring within DeakinCo’s Learning and Development function.
