| MultiTime Limited | Legacy | MultiTime VisionTime | Time and Attendance | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, the Department of the Taoiseach implemented MultiTime VisionTime, a Time and Attendance application, to manage flexible working across its 225 employee organization. The deployment targeted 175 frontline staff for daily clocking and self service time management, while up to 75 supervisors were enabled to review and sign off flexi requests, and central switchboard staff were given real time visibility of who is in or out. MultiTime VisionTime was configured to support PC based key in and key out, a wall mounted touch screen terminal for terminal based clocking, and employee self service entry for time off requests such as flexiday. The implementation included manager approval workflows for supervisor sign off and a reporting suite used by administrators to monitor flexi usage and attendance rosters, providing standard timesheet, clocking and attendance reporting capabilities typical of Time and Attendance systems. Operational coverage extended across the Department of the Taoiseach frontline offices, central administration and switchboard operations, with functional impact on HR administration, line manager processes and daily access control for reception and switchboard staff. The architecture emphasized endpoint capture at PCs and a dedicated wall mounted terminal, feeding real time presence data to administrative dashboards and the reporting layer, without named third party integrations disclosed. Governance and objectives were explicitly aligned to manage increasingly diverse flexitime arrangements, increase accountability and improve employee work life balance. The vendor rationale cited a long standing supplier relationship in the Irish public sector and experience in flexible working, and reported outcomes included staff empowerment through flexible working, increased and speedier interaction between staff and managers, better local accountability and reduced administrative effort for central administrators. |
