In 2019 PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk implemented SunFish Payroll, part of the SunFish HR suite, to centralize HR, Payroll and time and attendance for its approximately 6,000-employee group across Indonesia. The deployment established a group level Payroll capability and consolidated payroll processing and HR administration across business units in Indonesia.
The implementation used SunFish Payroll to standardize payroll calculations, statutory deductions and payroll run orchestration while leveraging SunFish HR modules for employee master data and time capture. Configuration efforts emphasized payroll rule engines, automated calculation workflows and integration of time and attendance data to support regular payroll cycles.
The solution functioned as a centralized payroll and time data consolidation layer across sites in Indonesia, integrating payroll runs with the SunFish time and attendance module and core HR records within the SunFish HR suite. Operational coverage targeted company payroll and HR functions across the group rather than point solutions at individual sites.
Operational governance centralized payroll ownership and consolidated HR administrative tasks, prompting process changes for time capture, payroll validation and payrun approval workflows. The vendor KEDA reports the 2019 rollout cut payroll processing to under an hour, delivered near 100% payroll accuracy and reduced HR administrative workload by roughly 60%.
