Integrations were a focal point of the program, with the project leading integrations development and data reconciliations between Workday HCM and key global systems such as SAP Finance and ServiceNow. Workday self service integration tools, including the core connector, were used to build, configure, test and deploy custom integrations, with test scripts developed for integration validation and third parties managed to deliver Workday Studio integration elements. Governance and operational readiness activities included developing training materials for Business As Usual support teams, delivering training to global audiences via webex, supporting customer queries, and managing steering groups with regular meetings to keep stakeholders informed about integration activities. The engagement delivered the defined scope on time and in budget, establishing Workday HCM as the central Core HR platform for Diageo Australia and its participation in the global rollout.
