Configuration work emphasized a chart of accounts organized for nonprofit fund and program accounting, segment-based reporting for departments and classes, and setups to support grant and stewardship tracking. The system was provisioned with role based access controls and integrated dashboard and reporting configurations to support month end close and approval workflows. Gray, Gray & Gray provided system configuration, security model design, and process mapping services as part of the engagement. Governance changes included centralization of the chart of accounts, standardized accounting policies across parishes, and defined approval workflows to enforce fund specific restrictions and reporting consistency. A phased rollout and training program were used to onboard diocesan finance staff and parish bookkeepers to Sage Intacct.
