In 2016, District Photo implemented UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) as its Core HR platform. The initiative was explicitly focused on payroll conversion, moving payroll processing from Paychex WORX into UKG Pro HCM across all three company locations.

Operational workflows show integration points with order management billing cadence and with bank processing for check deposits, wire transfers, ACH transactions, and credit card receipts, using Excel as a staging and reporting layer before posting to Epicor Kinetic. The application is used to generate customer invoices, produce pivot table based reporting for customers, and maintain AR ledgers that feed collection email workflows and audit support requests.
Governance and process discipline were implemented around standardized Excel upload templates, AR aging review cycles, collection communications, and audit documentation procedures, with the AR clerk and accounting team accountable for invoice generation, payment posting, reconciliations, and supporting annual audit requests. Epicor Kinetic functions as the system of record for invoicing and AR activity, linking transactional billing from order management to the general ledger and month end financial close.
