Smart ERP Solutions Legacy SmartERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2021 2021
In 2021 DN Solutions South Korea implemented SmartERP from Smart ERP Solutions, classified as ERP Financial. The deployment focused on companywide integrated process management to realize global business standardization and to improve responsiveness to external changes described in the project notes. The SmartERP implementation encompassed core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial consolidation, while mapping inventory and costing processes into the financial ledger to support manufacturing cost visibility. The project also configured quality management and manufacturing support capabilities aligned to product development to production workflows, including part approval workflows and internal calibration tracking described in the documentation. Operational coverage targeted cross‑functional processes spanning product development, production, quality, and finance, centralizing transactional finance data and linking it to manufacturing and quality events. Integrations were implemented at the process level to synchronize production and NPD workflows with financial postings and inventory valuation, enabling a single source of transactional truth for business functions that include finance, operations, quality, and procurement. Governance was structured to standardize workflows and enforce approval controls across financial and quality domains, embedding machine part approval and calibration procedures into ERP workflows to support precision manufacturing requirements. The implementation narrative emphasizes SmartERP as an ERP Financial platform that unifies financial controls with manufacturing and quality management processes to support standardized global operations.

ModuleWorks Legacy ModuleWorks Cutting Simulation Computer-Aided Design (CAD) PLM and Engineering n/a 2021 2021
In 2021 Doosan Machine Tools integrated ModuleWorks Cutting Simulation into its Sketch Turn product, aligning ModuleWorks Cutting Simulation with the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) toolset that supports NC programming and shop floor verification. Sketch Turn is a highly automated NC programming environment used on Doosan turning centers to assist operators in creating and editing machining programs, and the ModuleWorks Cutting Simulation integration extends that capability for mill, turn and combined mill turn applications. The integration delivers graphic simulation alongside the NC program in the Sketch Turn interface so operators can identify issues and edit Gcode efficiently. ModuleWorks Cutting Simulation provides stock removal verification, automatic collision checking among tool holder, tool shaft and workpiece, and a full range of toolpath analysis tools covering segment length and type, feed rate and height, plus detailed gouge and excess analyses to refine toolpaths prior to machining. Operationally the implementation focuses on shop floor usability, embedding simulation and verification directly into operator workflows for Doosan turning centers and enabling faster Gcode iteration at the machine. The deployment leverages existing ModuleWorks capabilities previously used by Doosan, including the ModuleWorks Collision Avoidance System on turning centers, to create continuity in machining verification and collision analysis. Governance and strategic intent are explicit, the ModuleWorks Cutting Simulation integration was positioned to optimize availability and effectiveness of machining information on the shop floor and to further Doosan’s strategy of creating a seamless flow of information for right first time machining. The collaboration between Doosan Machine Tools and ModuleWorks is described as an ongoing partnership to combine technologies and advance digital manufacturing capabilities.
