In 2019, Dondi S.p.A. implemented Alexide SolidRules InCentro as a Product Lifecycle Management solution to centralize CAD and PDM data for the technical office and after sales and service functions in Italy. The implementation of Alexide SolidRules InCentro was delivered by Desys srl and targeted visual documentation and online sharing for technical documents to support engineering and service workflows. The deployment centralized CAD and PDM repositories and introduced PDM lifecycle and document control workflows to improve CAD design continuity and document traceability.
Operational scope concentrated on the technical office and CAD teams plus after sales and service processes within Italy, with configuration focused on visual viewers, document publishing, and controlled access for service personnel. Governance assigned system ownership to engineering and service stakeholders and the rollout emphasized standardized documentation processes and information sharing across design and service channels. The project delivered faster document management and better alignment with Industry 4.0 objectives.
