In 2018 Douglas Elliman implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP HR as a Core HR application to anchor its Microsoft-based HR ecosystem in the United States. The implementation was positioned alongside Dynamics 365 family components to support HR workflows and talent management across the companys HR functions.
The deployment included direct work on Microsoft Dynamics Talent integrations and Dynamics 365 Fin & Ops customizations, with report development aligned to HR and finance data needs. Microsoft Dynamics GP HR was configured to participate in cross-application data synchronization, enabling payroll and workforce data flows through integrations with ADP and HRWC as part of the broader HR solution.
Integrations were executed using cloud native middleware and APIs, specifically Azure Functions and Microsoft Flow for event-driven orchestration, and Dynamics 365 data management APIs for bulk and transactional data exchanges. Finance to sales connectivity was delivered using Power Apps Data Integrator and the Common Data Service, tying Dynamics 365 Fin & Ops with Dynamics 365 for Sales and ensuring a unified data model across HR, finance, and sales systems.
Governance and delivery practices emphasized formal solution design, fit and gap analysis, and requirements estimation, supported by maintained solution design documents and technical design documents. Engineering controls included code reviews, performance optimizations, and team mentoring to sustain integrations and customizations within the Microsoft Dynamics GP HR and Dynamics 365 estate.
