In 2017 Dubai Duty Free implemented Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) within its Retail Management environment as a centralized sales auditing capability supporting finance and store operations. The deployment of Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) was positioned inside DDF Application Architecture alongside Oracle Retail components to provide transaction validation and reconciliation across retail touchpoints.
The Oracle Retail Sales Audit implementation focused on core sales audit workflows, including transaction validation, exception management, audit trail generation, and settlement preparation for financial posting. ReSA was configured to work with complementary retail functions such as store inventory management, pricing controls, and invoice matching to support end to end audit and validation processes.
ReSA was integrated with an Integration Bus and the Material Handling and Control System MHCS for transactional ingress, and it interfaced with Oracle E Business Suite R12 Financials, HR and Payroll, and Purchasing for non traded items. The implementation also connected to ORWMS, POS RMS, SIM, RPM, RDW, ReIM, Oracle Data Integrator ODI, and the Order Fulfillment Module OFM to enable consolidated data flows, warehouse and point of sale reconciliation, and data warehousing for reporting.
Governance was organized across finance, merchandising, store operations, and order fulfillment to establish exception resolution and reconciliation workflows. Data orchestration and batch reconciliation routines were managed through Oracle Data Integrator and the Integration Bus, enabling automated handoffs to E Business Suite Financials and to the retail data warehouse for downstream reporting and analysis.
