The engagement was executed with a one person implementation and support team and covered production, development, and quality environments across the site. The technical program included application and database lifecycle upgrades, specifically production upgrade of EBS from R12.1.3 to R12.2.6 and database upgrade from 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2. SSL was configured on the R12 DMZ application environment, and a mobile application setup was configured to support SCM workflows, linking Oracle E-Business Suite to external property and point of sale systems. Operational responsibilities were focused on backup, patching, cloning and refreshing of database and application instances, troubleshooting Oracle Applications and ODA related issues, and delivering process driven support to end users and application developers. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment provided ERP Financial and supply chain related functional coverage while centralizing administration, integration, and ongoing application support under the designated team.
