In 2018, East & Concord Partners implemented Amazon SES to provide Transactional Email for their website. East & Concord Partners integrated Amazon SES as the core outbound messaging engine to deliver transactional communications originating from web forms and client portals.
The implementation leveraged Amazon SES capabilities such as SMTP and API sending, domain verification and DKIM signing, template based message generation, bounce and complaint handling, and suppression lists. Configuration sets and sending quotas were used to segment transactional streams and control throughput for web originated messages.
Deployment was embedded in the corporate website and invoked from server side application code to ensure synchronous delivery for client notifications, onboarding messages, system alerts, and billing notifications across East & Concord Partners China operations. The deployment model focused on application layer integration and centralized outbound controls to maintain deliverability and sender reputation.
Governance established domain ownership controls, standard operating procedures for suppression list management, and monitoring and alerting for bounce and complaint rates tied to operational workflows. Amazon SES centralized transactional email management and provided template and sending governance for business functions that manage client communications.
