In 2022, ECA ToolFast implemented OGL prof.ITplus WMS to support Warehouse Management at its Stoke-on-Trent fulfillment site. The deployment is tied to operational activity observed between August 2022 and December 2022 and centers on shop floor execution for forklift drivers and warehouse operatives using prof.ITplus for daily warehouse tasks. The implementation of OGL prof.ITplus WMS was configured to support core Warehouse Management workflows, including inbound goods receiving and check in, putaway and location management, picking list processing for outbound issues, and stocktaking and cycle counting. These functional modules were used to accurately check goods in and out on profITplus, execute picks against picking lists, locate and move palletized stock, and perform inventory audits. Operational coverage emphasizes warehouse operations and inventory control, with staff roles including forklift drivers and warehouse operatives performing loading, unloading, locating goods, and liaising with suppliers and customers for delivery discrepancies and collections. Governance and rollout included hands on training of staff members on prof.ITplus workflows and procedural updates for goods receipt, discrepancy handling, picks processing, and stocktaking to align operational practice with the Warehouse Management application.
