Datalogic Legacy Datalogic Grocery - In-Store & Point Of Sales Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, El Mandado Supermarket deployed Datalogic Grocery - In-Store & Point Of Sales at its Raleigh, United States location using Datalogic Memor™ mobile computers to support inventory management and checkout operations. The rollout targeted in-aisle processes and cashier workflows, positioning Datalogic Grocery - In-Store & Point Of Sales as the store-level Point Of Sale and mobile data capture layer. Datalogic Memor™ mobile computers were configured for barcode scanning, handheld inventory data capture, and cashier-assisted scanning workflows, replacing manual keying for SKU counts and transaction entry. Implemented functional capabilities included mobile barcode scanning for shelf-level stock counts, handheld-supported checkout scanning, and device-driven data capture consistent with Point Of Sale device management and inventory control workflows. Operational scope was store-level within the Raleigh site, focused on inventory management and point of sale staff, and the rollout emphasized adoption of in-aisle scanning processes by floor and checkout employees. The deployment increased inventory data accuracy and improved checkout efficiency by replacing manual keying with barcode scanning and handheld devices, as reported in the project source.
