PDI Technologies Legacy PDI Factor ERP Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2010 2011
In 2010, Empire Petroleum Partners implemented PDI Factor ERP, deploying the Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP to centralize fuel accounting and billing across its operations. Deployment targeted two fuel billing groups in Maryland and Texas, establishing a single application instance to standardize transaction processing and state tax reporting workflows. The implementation configured core accounting ledgers, fuel billing modules and motor fuel tax reporting capabilities within PDI Factor ERP, with Factor serving as the primary accounting system for invoicing, receivables and payables. Configuration included tax reporting workflows to support filing motor fuel tax state reports for 32 states, and role based access controls to separate responsibilities between the MD and TX billing teams. Operational coverage extended across finance and commercial fuel operations, supporting the two billing centers while centralizing financial master data in PDI Factor ERP to maintain accounting consistency. The project scope included collaboration with acquisition teams, providing a repeatable accounting and billing integration pathway during due diligence and post acquisition onboarding. Governance emphasized procedural training and knowledge transfer, the project lead trained new and existing employees on the Factor software accounting system and established routine processes for tax filing and billing reconciliation. Implementation workstreams were organized to align billing, tax reporting and accounting processes under PDI Factor ERP to support ongoing operations and acquisition integrations.
