In 2018, Energy Alloys implemented Invera Stratix ERP. The deployment replaced Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise and established Invera Stratix ERP as the Manufacturing ERP backbone for the company’s distribution and metals supply chain operations.
The Invera Stratix ERP implementation was configured to support core distribution and manufacturing workflows, including inventory management, sales order processing, purchasing and supplier management, warehouse operations, and financial ledgers. The operational environment included integrations with corporate systems, notably JD Edwards for corporate consolidation and reporting, and supported ongoing Office 365 tenant activities and WAN modernization workstreams that provided the network and desktop foundation for ERP users.
Governance and rollout were led by the company’s Director of IT, who centralized Service Desk, Desktop Support, Server/Datacenter/Cloud Operations, LAN/WAN/Telephony, Security and Disaster Recovery functions to operationalize the ERP. Governance activities also encompassed asset disposition, site closures and sale diligence tasks tied to corporate transactions, while ERP stewardship focused on aligning supply chain, finance and operations workflows with organizational controls and IT strategy.
