Quorum Business Solutions IFS Excalibur (formerly P2 Excalibur) myQuorum Accounting Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Enerplus Resources USA implemented myQuorum Accounting as its core Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP, initiating a targeted conversion away from IFS Excalibur formerly P2 Excalibur. The deployment was led from the Land Administration function and focused on land and revenue accounting workflows with the conversion activity recorded as in progress through 2019. myQuorum Accounting was configured to support lease records, lease rentals, division orders and revenue accounting workflows, with role based access and operational support for a 13 person Land Administration team. The implementation included creation of custom queries and reporting for acreage and well reports, and configuration to manage lease related tasks such as division order processing, rental tracking and coordination of AFE related approvals. Conversion and integration work involved close coordination with IT and Quorum Business Solutions to define the migration roadmap and to map transactional data from IFS Excalibur into myQuorum Accounting. Operational integrations emphasized revenue decks, payments and approvals workflows and procedural handoffs to Revenue Accounting, while audit and legal interactions were instrumented to support quarterly and year end audits and escheat filings. Jurisdictional coverage and process rules incorporated practices for CO, PA, ND and MT division order and lease law where applicable. Governance was centralized under the Land Administration Supervisor who managed workloads, oversaw data validation, and coordinated with auditors and legal counsel on lease clause and lawsuit related determinations. Implementation activities explicitly produced reconciliations and corrections to disputed revenue balances including individual owner corrections over 1.5 million dollars, and supported a one year unclaimed property audit that resulted in an $8,000 payment due with no penalties.
